The war of words that has come to characterize our daily existence is one that gives me a huge pause.
My tool of trade has always been language.
How it is used. How it lands. How it’s perceived. What was in the speakers mind (can never know that); the intention of the message or use of same.
I’ve always had issues with the concept of evolution. I still don’t understand it fully. Thanks to Mrs Onajaife my secondary school biology teacher. Who basically thought the concept was pagan at best.
We have been socially conditioned to define greatness as being influential on a large scale or being mirrored on the worlds stage. Truth is not all of us will get to that perceived phenomenal status. For some actually it is after they have transitioned that their ‘greatness’ will be understood.
Very recently precisely September 4, 2021 I said to someone, who was wondering why social media has become so pervasive and the amount of negative energy that seem to vibrate through it.
We have heard this statement a whole lot, well I think I have more than I’d love to count.
We have been thought to think that the person who’s making this statement is trying to let us down easily and try not to feel badly about whatever it is they want to say.
